Character, prop, and environment concepts for the VR game Barbaria by Stalwart Games. The overarching direction was to create a mythic place and characters that exist in a war torn wasteland of a realm. Everything should look harsh, epic, and battle tested. The mythology was pulled loosely from Greek and Roman myths, but we looked at much early civilizations to get a heavier, rough hewn look that would push more towards a barbaric look.
