Mummy King

I love mixing genres and cultures to create new combinations. Combining Egyptian Mummies and European kings created these series of baddies. There's a little inspiration drawn from Skeleton Warriors too.

Trying out a more painterly sketchy style and a little different take on a Mummy King.

I think I was watching Samurai Jack when I was making this.

It's funny how ideas can jump from project to project, style to style. This little Adventure Time fan art piece I did later became the basis for my Mummy King paintings.
